RUAG Aviation in Oberpfaffenhofen offers Life-Cycle-Support Services, such as evaluation, final assembly, maintenance, repair work as well as upgrades for helicopters (UH-1D) and the Alpha Jet. In addition to that, RUAG Aviation manufactures the Do 228 New Generation, a robust turboprop aircraft equipped with a modern glass cockpit and a five-blade propeller. The Do228 NG is characterised by its excellent flight qualities, such as short take-off capability, high payload and long range, as well as the ability to land and take off from unpaved runways with limited ground services.
