Markus Schibli to become new CEO of CyOne Security

As of May 1, 2024, CyOne Security AG will be under new leadership. The Board of Directors has named Markus Schibli the new CEO of CyOne Security He will take over the reins from Giuliano Otth, who is set to retire after an arranged transition phase.

As of May 1, Markus Schibli will assume operational management responsibility for CyOne Security AG as the new Chief Executive Officer. The 52-year-old Swiss is currently the head of the Cyber sub-program and, within this role, is also responsible for the Cyber Security area of activity at RUAG AG. Markus Schibli is a qualified industrial engineer and has long-term management experience. Over the past six years he has held responsibility at RUAG for the development and implementation of the cyber strategy, among other duties. He was also part of a task force for innovation and, as such, laid the foundation for what is now the RIO (RUAG Innovation Organization). Prior to his time at RUAG he held several leadership positions at ABB. Regarding this new challenge,

Giuliano Otth is to retire following an arranged transitional phase. Six years ago he co-founded CyOne Security, before successfully developing and driving the company forward.
