Former employees know future employees

Help us fill vacancies and tell the people in your network about our career opportunities. If you are mentioned by name in the cover letter or during the first interview with the candidate and this person is hired by RUAG, you will receive an attractive gift from us once they have successfully completed their probationary period. The number of referral gifts is limited per person and year.

FOCUS TOPIC 2026

Each year, the RUAG Former Employee Program will focus on a different topic. Our former employees can look forward to a wide range of newsletter articles as well as a variety of events and network opportunities with numerous specialists and managers.

In 2026, we will focus on the Business Area Sensors, Communication & Ground (SCG). The employees working in this division are responsible for the maintenance, repair and modification of all land-based systems, including related projects and consulting services. In this way, they ensure the optimal availability and sustainable operability of all systems through customer-oriented service throughout their entire life cycle.

You left RUAG at your own request. We, therefore, hope that you will look back on your time at RUAG with fond memories and would like to stay in touch – even outside of the employment relationship.

Do I take on any obligations by joining the RUAG Former Employee Program?

No, by joining the RUAG Former Employee Program you are not assuming any obligations. Moreover, membership is of course voluntary.

For what purposes will my personal data be used?

Your personal data will be used exclusively for the above-mentioned purposes. These are to communicate with you as part of the program, to organize the program and to request feedback as part of the evaluation of the program.

Can I be a member of the RUAG Former Employee Program without receiving the newsletter?

The newsletter is the central communication channel of the RUAG Former Employee Program, without which you will not receive any information on competitions or invitations to internal RUAG events. It is, therefore, not possible to join the RUAG alumni program without agreeing to receive the newsletter.

How often will I receive the newsletter?

Do not worry, our goal is not to fill your spam folder, but to provide you with high-quality content. That is why we plan to send out a maximum of four newsletters per year. Over time, we will be able to analyze whether this number is just right, too few or too many.
