Ralf Müller steps down as CEO

Ralf Müller, CEO of RUAG MRO Holding Ltd, is stepping down from his role for health reasons. A skiing accident last January has resulted in a longer period of recovery than originally expected. A full recovery is expected to take several more months. Ralf Müller has therefore decided to take this step to ensure swift and clear leadership clarity.

The Board of Directors deeply regrets this step and extends its sincere thanks to Ralf Müller for his dedication to RUAG and his outstanding work. Ralf Müller assumed the position of CEO in a difficult situation and has ever since played a key role in stabilizing and developing the company.

“While we regret this step, we appreciate and respect Ralf Müller’s decision to put the interests of RUAG first and thank him for his important contributions and great commitment,” says Dr. Jürg Rötheli, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Until a new CEO is appointed, Oliver Müller, member of the Executive Board and former Head of Corporate Services, will take over the management of the Group. He will be supported in this by the Board of Directors, in particular by its Chairman. The search process for a successor has been initiated.
