Our daily work consists of sustaining and upgrading civil as well as military fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
In that process we handle the complete development cycle, starting with capturing and definition of requirements right through system architecture, evaluation of line replaceable units, electrical and cable design, integration, qualification, testing, and certification.

Avionic systems
RUAG is your partner for aircraft modification and cockpit upgrade. We are familiar with the current and future requirements of the aviation safety agencies and deliver solutions that comply with regulations.
Electronic systems
Electronic systems are a decisive factor for an enhanced flight experience. Firstly, the equipment in your aircraft cabin needs to be optimally controlled and secondly, passengers wish to be entertained while traveling.
Cable harnesses
Our electrical designers and engineers have extensive knowledge in development of cable systems for air and space vehicles.
Night vision imaging systems (NVIS)
RUAG has capabilities for NVIS cockpit design for civil and military applications. STCs can be engineered for military and civil rotorcraft.
Helmet mounted display (HMD)
The Helmet Mounted Display (HMD) is a force multiplier and ensures top-level performance in any operational environment. It has been shown that the integration of HMD significantly reduces pilot and co-pilot workload, and hereby increases situational awareness and flight safety.
Environmental qualification
RUAG is familiar with military and civil environmental equipment qualification requirements.
Personal Electronic Device (PED) certification
Aircraft crew and passengers need to operate Personal Electronic Devices. RUAG has capability to analyze and test aircraft systems in all flight phases. We can ensure that PED operation is safe and within airworthiness regulations.
