Do you enjoy puzzling over things until you find the right technical solution? Do you like interacting with people and don’t mind dealing with customers over the phone or on site? Then the apprenticeship to become an ICT technician is perfect for you.

As an ICT technician, you will install hardware and software, expand device configurations, instruct users and actively support the Field Service and Service Desk teams. Moreover, you will contribute your expertise when it comes to configuring hardware and standard or specific operating applications in line with company guidelines and provide support to end users.

Duration

Your apprenticeship will last three years. During this time, you will learn everything you need to know to as an ICT technician with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (EFZ).

Skills

For this apprenticeship, you must have manual skills, a practical and technical understanding and good spatial awareness. To qualify for this apprenticeship, you need good grades in mathematics, German and English. You are also open-minded and have good communication skills, enabling you to interact easily with other people.

Future opportunities

After your apprenticeship with us, you have the following post-apprenticeship opportunities: ICT system and network engineer with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education, Certified ICT manager or ICT security expert, Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Business Data Processing or Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Business Data Processing or Information Technology.
