STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. These professional fields are becoming increasingly important and form an essential foundation for technological progress, digitalization, and innovation. The Swiss Science Center Technorama in Winterthur fosters curiosity and fascination for these fields in its unique interactive and experiential space. The exhibits invite visitors to discover, experiment, and reflect. The goal of the exhibition is to allow visitors to experience phenomena from nature and technology firsthand. Turn, press, jump, marvel—each exhibit invites visitors to learn through play by trying things out. For over 40 years, the Technorama has been inspiring visitors and, with approximately 360,000 admissions per year, ranks among the ten largest museums in Switzerland. With more than 63,000 students visiting the Technorama as part of a field trip, it is the largest extracurricular learning center for the natural sciences.
RUAG is proud to support the Technorama through a sponsorship partnership. The challenges of the future require new skills and innovative solutions. This makes it all the more important to show young talents the diverse educational and career opportunities in the technical field. Together with the Technorama, RUAG promotes this enthusiasm for STEM career fields.
