The Swiss Federal Audit Office (SFAO) recently published the three reports “Audit of possible aspects of fraud”, “Audit of the management and control of RUAG MRO” and “Audit of inventory management”. All of these reports are directly related to events within RUAG MRO Holding Ltd. RUAG shares the assessment of the SFAO and considers the abuses and misconduct identified in the reports to be unacceptable. The new company management is aware of its responsibility and will thoroughly investigate the misconduct of the past and take concrete measures. These include the initiation of legal steps, personnel changes, which have already been initiated, and an external audit of the compliance processes. In addition, RUAG will compensate the Swiss Armed Forces in full for any unauthorized withdrawals that may have occurred in the context of inventory management.
