RUAG is proud to be supporting SwissSkills as a sponsoring partner in 2025 and will be in attendance with a stand at which it will introduce RUAG as an employer to visitors. The focus here will be on the numerous apprenticeships that RUAG can offer at various sites in Switzerland. Students will have the opportunity to discover and familiarize themselves with apprenticeship professions such as that of system and equipment constructor, multi-skilled mechanic, or designer, and will find out how RUAG can provide them with targeted support in the pursuit of their individual interests and talents alongside their training.
In an area spanning 110 m2, the young visitors can test their skill on an obstacle course, compete to record the fastest time in a competition, and get to know the apprenticeship professions in a playful way.
What visitors can expect at SwissSkills 2025
From a pastry chef, to a clothing design, and a roofer: Visitors can discover and try out 150 professions, in an area the size of 15 soccer fields. In addition to the exhibition, more than 1,100 apprentices in more than 90 professions will take part in the central vocational championships, seeking to be awarded the title of SwissSkills Champion. In around 40 professions, the apprenticeships even have the opportunity to qualify for the WorldSkills 2026 in Shanghai.
