Successful together thanks to clear principles and expertise

As a federally owned group of companies, we are the Swiss Armed Forces' most important industrial and innovation partner – and thus a key guarantor of their equipment and operational readiness. We know what matters: for our customers, for Switzerland, for our shared security.

Our actions are characterized by a sense of responsibility, integrity, and trust. We cultivate cooperative relationships with customers, business partners, and each other – openly, respectfully, and on an equal footing. Transparent communication, fairness, and respect for people and the environment are just as important to us as compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. The RUAG Code of Conduct is our binding framework. It sets out the values and principles that guide us – within the company and in our dealings with all stakeholders. It is the basis for our credibility, our good reputation, and our sustainable success.

RUAG competency model

In a dynamic, constantly changing world, competencies are important for maintaining orientation and taking action in new situations. The RUAG competency model supports us in meeting these challenges.

The RUAG competency model defines the competencies that are important for RUAG and thus serves as a guide for strengthening and expanding our personal competencies. It is based on our mission statement (leadership, simplicity in structures and processes, customer focus) and our values (Swiss, transparent, resilient, agile, ambitious). The RUAG competency model consists of a total of two categories, each with five competencies.
